Pure Powder PTFE Anti-Dripping Agent PS-AD-A003
Description

PS-AD-A003 is a high-performance pure powder PTFE anti-dripping agent, produced through a specialized modification process. With an ultra-high molecular weight of approximately 4–5 million, the PTFE powder fibrillates under shear stress during extrusion, forming a fibrous network structure that effectively prevents molten polymer dripping.
This product is mainly designed for plastics requiring UL 94 V-0 flame retardant rating. By incorporating PS-AD-A003, the required amount of conventional flame retardant additives can be reduced, while still achieving V-0 performance, enabling manufacturers to lower costs, improve product safety, and enhance competitiveness.
Key Performance Features
- Pure powder dispersion – it ensures uniform distribution within resin systems
- High PTFE content (≥99.0%) – free from impurities, allows higher dosage without affecting product properties
- Excellent processability and compatibility – easy to handle and blend with various thermoplastics
- Stable at room temperature – non-caking; injection molded products remain wrinkle-free
- Enhanced surface quality – black and white parts exhibit no crystalline spots, improving gloss
- Minimal impact on mechanical properties – it maintains impact strength in high-toughness formulations
